Tsunade and her teammates fought several battles to safeguard the village of Konoha. They are, however, renowned for their exploits during the second great shinobi war. The war involved several villages, including Amegakure and Konoha had a difficult time in the battle. It was Tsunade and her teammates that eventually defeated the leader of Amegakure and Konoha got the upper hand in the war. The team’s exploits made Hanzo, the leader of Amegakure, refer to them as the Sannin. Sannin means the three renowned ninjas from Konohagakure regarded as the greatest of their time. Asides from her combat skills, Tsunade also exhibited her medical ninjutsu during the second great shinobi war. Tsunade initially rejected their proposal as a fool’s idea. Naruto, however, convinces her that the fact that a dreamer dies doesn’t mean that the dream has to die. He also convinces her that the fact that an objective seems impossible doesn’t mean that it is necessarily so. All this gives Tsunade a change of heart, and she agrees to become the fifth Hokage of Konoha. She reigned for several years, during which she worked hard to protect the village. She also encouraged people to pursue their dreams. Tsunade is able to have a good reign and retires from office alive.
Does Tsunade Die?
Despite all the major battles that she faced, Tsunade does not die in Naruto. She remains alive and makes it as a minor character in the Naruto sequel, Boruto: Naruto Next Generations. This is quite a feat, given that she fought several battles and faced off against fearsome enemies as a ninja. There is also the fact that most Hokages die in service and never retire alive. Tsunade was an exception, as she was able to retire alive.
