This update brings some new features like a dark EMUI user interface, new settings, GPU turbo, internal optimizations and location permissions. The new firmware, known by the version number 10.0.0.161, is massive, weighing around 4.6GB.

The P20 is powered by an octa-core Kirin 970 chipset with 4GB/6GB of RAM and 64GB/128GB of non-expandable storage. It sports two rear cameras, one with a 12MP lens and the other with a 20MP lens, while the front camera has 24MP sensor for selfies. This new update can be installed through this channel, Settings > System & Updates > Software Update > Check for updates. You should be able to download and install this update if it is already available for your region. The P20 was not listed as part of the devices expected to get an upgrade to EMUI 10.1, meaning that this may be the last OS and feature updates we may see for this 2018 device.   References
