Trustpilot was the first site I visited and the site had an overall star review rating of 3.3 stars out of 5 stars. There were a decent amount of good reviews and some customers seemed happy with the company’s services. Here are a few of the good reviews: •Switched from O2 where price goes up each year inflation plus whatever. Started at £5 but would have been nearly £7 by the time I switched to ASDA Mobile for £5, with no increases. Far, far better value. Unlimited minutes & texts plus 3Gb of data. Kept my previous number without any hassle. Highly recommended!! •I think ASDA Mobile is excellent value ..Easy set up ..help is really available if required . My plan is a £5 monthly one ,,,unlimited text and calls and 4 GB of data. This fits my requirements very well. With a good reception nearly everywhere . Thank you ASDA. •I switched to ASDA Mobile about 3 months ago. There was a little hiccup at the start, but everything has thankfully been plain sailing ever since. Now, on to the bad reviews, a good amount of the bad reviews spoke about poor signal strength and data coverage. There were also a few customers who wrote about how difficult it was to get issues solved by customer service agents. Here are some of the bad reviews: •ASDA did not switch my number over correctly so I have 2 phone numbers attached to my sim card. I called multiple times to resolve this and they have tried to fix my issue but it has not worked. I also cannot text from my sim. I could send a text at one point, but the receiver got the message twice and it would always say that the message has not been delivered. They said they’d fix this but did not follow up and it has only gotten worse – I seem to not be able to send a text at all. I will be switching providers. •I moved to ASDA mobile 5 months ago – it’s not been a good experience. Transferring to them was fine but the phone service is appalling. Wi-Fi calling rarely works, phone signal at home is worse than it was with BT, mobile data is very intermittent when out and about. I have updated the settings as recommended by them, but still no luck. Will be leaving them shortly. •Awful. Customer service is non-existent and WiFi calling doesn’t work. (pixel 6a). Further to the reply below from ASDA, they have replied, but haven’t read any of the previous emails and have suggested that I do exactly what I’d told them I’d already done. The WiFi calling issue is their end, not mine. I advise anyone thinking of using ASDA WiFi calling to Google the reviews and they will see it’s an issue. •Very difficult to set up, poor coverage in this area, and then they put the prices up by a huge amount.  The Reviewcentre.com site had an overall star review rating of 2.1 stars out of 5 stars. There were very few good reviews so here are a few of the good reviews I found: •Used to buy with ASDA Mobile years ago when they used the Vodafone network, then moved to GiffGaff (O2) who I thought offered better value bundles. Latterly GiffGaff had too many service outages in the town where I work, and I had a very poor experience buying a new mobile from their parent company O2, so I decided to try ASDA Mobile (now using EE) again. I’m glad I did because although their bundles for the type of usage I require aren’t quite as good value as GiffGaff. ASDA Mobile’s reception is better, is more reliable, and their Customer Service Team are friendly, efficient and professional… AND they’re from Yorkshire which makes them alright in my book. ASDA’s downsides are that their website and offerings are a little more ‘clunky’ and basic than other providers, but they more than make up for it in other ways. Recommended. •I have been a Vodafone customer for 8 years and have been increasingly frustrated with their poor service. I decided to leave a £20 monthly prepay for a £10 PAYG with ASDA. I can only say that I am happy and wish I had moved sooner. I am surprised to see the number of complaints. I have better signal and less costs. What’s not to like! •Best customer support team in the UK. I’ve been with every network. From the Ireland office, from county Cork, my dad recognised your accent as he was in the room when we were talking yesterday. I hope you guys get to see this, keep up the amazing work. Take care. There were a lot of complaints about poor phone signal and coverage. Some customers also had internet issues which they contacted customer care to solve but it seems like the issues were not fully resolved. There were also some complaints about customer service being rude or not being able to understand and solve customer issues. Here are some of the bad reviews:  •ASDA Mobile/Vodafone cancelled my SIM card three months ago in error. They admitted their mistake and said they would send me a new SIM card and transfer my credit balance to the new number. Despite chasing them over the past two months, where on each occasion they continued to assure me (albeit reluctantly) that they would transfer the credit, they have failed to do so and are now even claiming that I cannot prove the number that I had for many years was actually mine. A year ago I would have given ASDA Mobile 5 stars as when they were partnered with EE I found their service to be excellent. •I tried ASDA again after Sainsbury’s Mobile and then the Post Office Mobile decided to close down. I used them a few years ago and they were good then. Not today. I believe the reason is their decision to use EE. Signal strength is poor and infuriatingly so when compared to an EE sim right beside me. Their customer service people, who are very pleasant, are hampered by idiotic EE terms. I used to be with EE, having been forced there when I was with Orange, who were OK, merged with T-Mobile, who were good. I left because of poor patronising EE customer service. Examples. Your 30 day Bundle runs out. You cannot renew until your 30 day period is up. You have a few MB left on your bundle but you cannot access the internet. They have a £7 bundle but you cannot buy a £7 voucher. My biggest gripe, however, is signal coverage and internet speed. •I went on ASDA Mobile for a week. What terrible customer service was rude -unhelpful. The website is bad, They move on the EE network which a lot of customers are not happy with. no 4G Stay away this network giffgaff is much better. After reading through the numerous reviews, I would say I have mixed feelings about ASDA Mobile so I’ll leave it to you guys to decide. After all, no company is perfect and it seems like ASDA Mobile  has a lot of improvements to make.
